What I'm listening to

Its been another year of killer releases some returning artists and some new artists that i’ve discovered recently. Here’s the lowdown on what i’ve been listening to recently, all with links to Spotify:

George Ezra - Staying at Tamara’s

I’ve had George Ezra’s new album on repeat since its release in March. The folk pop album is perfect for this heatwave, with tunes that have a charm to them that make me feel so happy. My favourite tracks on the album are Paradise, Shotgun, Pretty Shining People and Savour (featuring first aid kit)

Lilly Allen - No shame

I wan’t the biggest fan of Lilly Allen before the release of her track Trigger Bang last year. I still have that song on repeat thanks to its catchy chorus and sharp verses. When her new album No Shame came out I had to give it a try, and I have to say, this album has changed my view on Lilly. There are some great tracks on there including Lost my Mind and Everything to feel something.

Liquid drum and bass

I’ve been listening to some liquid drum and bass tracks recently. It’s less intense than jump up and its good to chill with some liquid on in the background. My favourite tracks at the moment are Pictures in my head - High contract Remix by MJ Cole and Solitude by Hybrid Minds and Alexa Harley.

Dean Lewis

I discovered Dean Lewis’ beautiful track Waves through the TV series Riverdale a while back. This heartfelt ballad is an emotional rollercoaster which is really hits you in the feelings. He recently released new track Be Alright which is just as as stunning and i’d definitely recommend you check him out.
